The key to making this healthy snack recipe is very simple. You will need:

  • Mackerel
  • HaruPlate Tomato Sambal
  • Rojak Flowers
  • Onions
  • Lemongrass
  • Carrots
  • Banana Leaves (for wrapping)



After you have prepared all the ingredients, it’s now time to make this awesome tasty treat! It’s actually very simple and easy, just prepare a blender, grill pan, and toothpicks and you’re good to go.


Here are the steps:

  1. Combine mackerel, HaruPlate Tomato Sambal and all the ingredients; blend into a paste.
  2. Spread the paste evenly on banana leaves, seal with toothpicks, and grill on a pan until cooked.
  3. Serve as a snack, on rice or as a sandwich!
